Optimised concept at record speed
cotedo is appointed realisation partner for new building of BMW branch in Nuremberg.
Within only four days, cotedo revised the layout drawings of the Aftersales area of the new BMW branch which is being planned in Nuremberg. Our competences as consultants and designers merged seamlessly with the architects’ plans. This is how an optimum layout could be provided at record speed.
The Aftersales area of the new building is going to be impressive. The Service Reception at the Vehicle is going to be equipped with no less than ten workplaces, while 49 workbays are planned for the mechanical/electrical workshop alone. The planned wheel storage area is to hold more than 3,000 wheel sets. Three portal car wash units and eight valeting workplaces are going to make for spotless cars.
All in all, the new “Niederlassung” is going to house all functions that a car service point can possibly hold. In addition to the large mechanical/electrical and body & paint workshops, specific areas for repairing security and BMW i vehicles have been included. Special diagnostic tools were also allowed for, e.g. special sprinkling workspaces for testing for water ingress into the vehicle.
We are proud of our fast revision of the planning scope and are looking forward to a joint realisation period!
