Why government funding makes our consulting services even more valuable

80% subsidies
are possible
40 hours
per measure are eligible for funding
End of 2026
is when the programme will terminate

Good to know: From now on, our consulting services for car dealerships can be subsidised by up to 80% as part of the so-called BAFA funding programme. This makes it easier for small and medium-sized businesses in particular to invest in their further development. We are familiar with the eligible business, financial and organisational topics and have a wealth of practical experience. Please note: the programme ends on 31 December 2026. So it's best to plan ahead now!

Challenge: Ensuring quality, even on tight budgets

The demands placed on car dealerships and repair shops are increasing every day: new technologies, a shortage of skilled workers, more and more environmental issues, and all this amid declining profitability. Many companies would like to actively address these challenges, but find themselves hampered by limited resources. In such a situation, they need as much expert advice as possible – but how can this be financed?

Solution: We advise, the government subs

The so-called BAFA subsidy (subsidies for management consultancy services from the German Federal Office of Economics and Export Control) enables small and medium-sized enterprises to receive subsidies of up to 80% of their consulting costs.

The range of eligible topics is very broad – in our portfolio, for example, it includes the optimisation of service processes, adaptation to new vehicle technologies, the establishment of a quality management system, measures to improve sustainability, and measures to attract and retain skilled workers. Two topics per year can be subsidised per company. The conditions also allow for in-depth consulting, as up to 40 hours are subsidised for the same topic, spread over up to five days – a lot can be achieved in a whole week!

Result: Maximum advice, minimised costs, zero risk

The process is very simple and businesses have complete transparency, as Christian Heemann, Senior Automotive Consultant at cotedo, explains:

The dealership chooses a consulting firm listed with the BAFA – for example, cotedo :) – and submits an application online. Only after a positive review do we begin the consultation. The funding is paid out by the BAFA after proof of use has been submitted.

This means our customers receive sound advice on a wide range of topics, even in times of scarce resources – a very good example of meaningful government support for economic development! Further information and conditions regarding the funding programme can be found directly on the official BAFA website.
